Navaratri 2025
Chinmaya International Foundation will be celebrating Navaratri festival at Adi Sankara Nilayam (maternal birth-home of Sri Adi Shankaracharya) from 22 Sept – 2 Oct, 2025 led by Swami Sharadananda Sarasvati. Every day there will be Sarasvati Puja in the morning, Mahalakshmi Puja in the noon and Sri Durga and Lalita Tripurasundari Pujas in the evening. The Sri Durga and Lalita Tripurasundari Pujas in the evening (6:15 PM IST) will be Live streamed through Chinfo YouTube Channel daily. As per the local Panchanga, this year Navaratri will be celebrated for 10 days. The Vijaya Dasami will be falling on the 2nd of Oct.
Navaratri is associated with the prominent battle that took place between the Goddess Durga and demon Mahishasura, and signifies the victory of good over evil. During this joyous festival of nine nights, Devi is worshipped as Sarasvati, Mahalakshmi, Each day Devi will be worshipped in different forms and names such as Sailaputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraganta etc.
You can join this celebration at Adi Sankara Nilayam on all the 10 days or at your convenience on any of the days. Those who can’t join onsite can participate by watching the live telecast of the pujas every evening. You can book pujas online to become a part of the celebrations and invoke the blessings of Bhagavati upon you and your family. The pujas will be performed on your behalf by us.
