Kalasa (Pot) made of brass or copper is filled with pure water, then presiding Deities of Kalasa are invoked. The Temple Thanthri sanctifies the water with Pranava Manthra, Moola Manthra etc and performs abhisheka inside the sanctum. This puja can be offered for the prosperity of the Family.

A saint, philosopher, poet, commentator, rejuvenator and social reformer, all ruled into one. Born in Kerala about two millennia ago, at the Melpazhur Mana, he grew up into a spiritual leader. His teachings were rooted in the Upanishadic thoughts. He was the pioneer who perpetuated the philosophy of Advaita Vedanta and influenced the world so much so that India can be thought of as pre-Sankara and post-Sankara.

\n\nAdi Sankara Jayanti is the birth anniversary of Sri Sankaracharya. Adi Sankara Jayanti celebrations include online competitions as well as a LIVE puja from the birth-room of Adi Sankara at Adi Sankara Nilayam. The Lakshmi Narayana Yagna & Puja are offered for the spiritual and material prosperity of the donors. On this auspicious occasion, Bhagavan Sri Narayanan along with Sridevi & Bhudevi are invoked both in Vigraha & Agni. An elaborate Shodasopacara Puja is offered to the Lord of the Universe. \r\n\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\tAstanaga\/ Nagayakshi Kalam Pattu\r\n\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t<\/h2>\r\n\t\t
A ritual performed to bring properity to all human beings by appeasing the snake gods or Nagas, a representation of divinity, eternity, life and death, as well as time and timelessness. Astanaga\/ Nagayakshi Kalam Patu is an exotic and spectacular ritual performance. The ritual begins with Ganapati Puja in the evening followed by Koora vitanam (decorating the temporarily constructed \u2018Temple\u2019 with a red cloth ). After this, Kalam ezhuthu starts. Sarpa kalam is drawn with herbal powders like, vaka podi, turmeric powder, rice powder etc to draw Astanagas and Nagayakshi Amma under a thatched hut (Pandal) and the pandal is decorated with lamps, nirapa, coconuts, betal leaf, arecanut etc.

\n\nThe Astanagas are Anantha, Vasuki, Thakshaka, Karkodaka, Shankha, Gulika, Padma and Mahapadma.
